Studio West Office
A historic corner store pharmacy transformed into Studio West’s New Orleans headquarters. The design called for preserving interior bead board walls, tin-coated steel ceilings, and tile flooring, while also introducing contemporary elements like oak and maple millwork throughout the interior.

Copper Vine Winepub
At the former site of Maylie’s, an iconic New Orleans eatery that operated from 1876 - 1986, Studio West led the historic renovation and expansion of the property, transforming it into a contemporary winepub that celebrates the original functionality of this 140-year-old building.

Algiers Ferry Terminal
Studio West is leading the design of this multifaceted project that will transform and repurpose the decommissioned Algiers Ferry Terminal building, originally built in 1978 and associated site into a sustainable multimodal community hub.

The Temple
Responsible for the historic renovation of a church, originally built in 1893, into a vibrant, multi-functional residence that operates as both a private home and a public venue for community events.

Spain Street
Formerly a mid-block commercial shop on the ground floor with a residence above, this structure was converted to a single-family residence with the intent of leaving the historic features intact as a way to celebrate the history of this classic New Orleans building.

Peychaud’s
Originally home to Antoine Peychaud, the inventor of New Orleans’ most famous bitters, and the writer Tennessee Williams, Studio West transformed this historic building into a beloved indoor-outdoor bar in the French Quarter.

Karnofsky’s Tailor Shop
Studio West was hired to design the reconstruction of the Karnofsky Tailor Shop, which was destroyed by Hurricane Ida in 2011. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this building was once a second home to Louis Armstrong and is at the epicenter of where jazz was invented in New Orleans.

St. George’s Episcopal School - Campus Master Plan
For this storied New Orleans K-12 school, Studio West is developing a comprehensive master plan to bring together the school’s mix of historic properties with rich cultural heritage into a cohesive campus.
