Collaborating closely with educators, administrators, local officials, and students, our education projects prioritize inclusivity with functional and adaptable architectural solutions.

A cohesive campus strategy frames and leads the development of this ten-year Facilities Master Plan in New Orleans, cultivating a supportive learning environment for early childhood development while ensuring accessibility and knowledge-sharing are placed at the forefront of this Uptown campus.

A renovation of a formerly underutilized student lounge, reimagined as a multi-functional space for student workshops, networking events, entrepreneurial pitch presentations and guest lectures.

A new and dedicated space on Tulane’s campus to promote research about teaching and to create community among faculty. The design also reorganized the layout to provide more flexible and functional places to study.

Despite being the main identity and operational hub for the St. George campus, Studio West revitalizes Porteous Hall to overcome limited accessibility, visibility, and flexibility for its visitors and students. Through coordinated design interventions that enhance the exterior and interior spaces, this public landmark remains a reflection of the school's core values as an inclusive and welcoming environment for children to learn and grow.

As one of the city’s few remaining historic public markets, Studio West performed comprehensive improvements to this multi-functional civic space - home to students and the community alike. With renovations to the kitchen and forum, including well-needed improvements to the boys’ and girls’ locker rooms, the design for Jefferson Market continues to serve the broader community.

For this historic building, poor accessibility is the primary concern in empowering student success, growth, and youth development. A comprehensive design strategy consisting of several phases prioritizes improving circulation and involves the addition of new exterior stairs, an accessible ramp, and a wheelchair lift, as well as dedicated learning spaces for lower and middle school students.

Richardson Memorial Hall, one of the original buildings on Tulane University’s campus and home to the School of Architecture since 1968, underwent a 4-year renovation to accommodate the expansion and modernization of the school’s programs. Studio West worked with Tulane University to design and select furniture for shared classrooms, collaborative spaces, lecture halls, design studios and faculty and administrative offices.
