Studio West's cultural projects celebrate art, cultural heritage, and civic life through the creation of thoughtfully considered place-based designs. Our process begins with thorough community outreach, research, and collaboration with key stakeholders to deliver meaningful design solutions that are inclusive, historically minded, and welcoming to all.

Following the January 1 attack in 2025, the 100–300 blocks of Bourbon Street were transformed into a temporary memorial titled Second Line in the Sky, reimagining the French Quarter as a luminous place for reflection, remembrance, and renewal.

Leading the reconstruction of this important cultural building in the district where jazz was born in New Orleans in the late 19th century. Destroyed by Hurricane Ida in 2021, modern construction techniques and resilient building materials are combined with historic reconstruction methods to rebuild this storied structure.
