Hospitality renovations for spaces that never shut down

The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center of New Orleans entrusted Studio West with key restroom renovations to bring their outdated restrooms to modern standards complementing their ongoing capital upgrades. As the fifth largest and second busiest convention center in the country, the facility must maintain operability through all construction projects. With attention to schedule, phasing, and construction efficiencies, the team was able to design aesthetically timeless restroom updates with minimal event disruption and construction waste, meeting the Convention Center’s progressive sustainability goals. In tandem with the public facing restrooms, the design team updated facility restrooms for employees that had not been refreshed since the facility was built in the early 1980s. Modernizing these spaces with updated lighting, elevated finishes, local artwork, and durable materials gives a touch of the hospitality experience for these key hospitality industry professionals.
